Partners in Care
We are grateful for the work each of our partners provide in realizing the flourishing of sexual assault survivors.
MOUNT NITTANY MEDICAL CENTER
Nora & Co. currently partners with Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA as our primary donation site. Each year, around 70 survivors of sexual violence seek medical care and DNA evidence collection at Mount Nittany. This process is vital to the health and wellbeing of the survivor and critical for the pursuit of justice in our legal system. Our annual goal is to be able to provide a Courage Tote to each of the 70 survivors that walk through the emergency department each year.
“The members of Nora & Co. are helping to change the lives of victims of sexual assault. I am seeing individuals on the worst day of their lives. Anything that I can do to bring these survivors comfort or any kindness helps to start the healing process. Thanks to Nora, I am able to offer a wonderful care bag. Not only do they provide needed physical supplies to the survivors, but they also remind them that someone cares and they are not alone.”
